If you want to stay in Afterwork for the time being, there’s no need to do anything.

Remember to review your retirement savings regularly and, if you can afford to, consider contributing to your Investment Account or if you already contribute, consider paying more into your Investment Account.

If you want to switch to the Barclays Pension Savings Plan (BPSP), you can do so during the My Rewards annual enrolment window in March each year.

Switching from Afterwork to the BPSP is an important financial decision. You don’t have to decide this year and you can stay in Afterwork until you retire. Once you’ve switched to the BPSP you will not be able to re-join Afterwork at a later stage.

For further information on how to switch to the BPSP, please refer to the process detailed in the Decision Guide.

If you are over age 50, and thinking about accessing your retirement savings, you should access the free and impartial guidance from the government’s pension guidance service – ‘Pension Wise’ – available to help you understand your options in relation to your defined contribution retirement savings. Pension Wise guidance can be accessed online or by phone.
